This is our second year with Brilliant Minds Academy (BMA) in San Ramon. My third grade daughter continues to receive excellent academic results with BMA. From time to time, Sadi and her team has worked hand-in-hand with my daughter's teachers to improve her performance and areas of concern. BMA works with my daughter's daily homework in addition to providing enrichment classes or tutoring (public speaking, vocabulary, math, writing, spelling) for a well-rounded program. We have recommended this program to our friends/colleagues and will continue to do so. Thank you Sadia for the extra care and support!

My son has been going to Brilliant Minds Academy for a year now and their services have been outstanding. The teachers at BMA genuinely care about wanting to make the students better. I am extremely grateful to Sadia Ali, the owner of BMA in San Ramon, as she has helped my son on all fronts; academically as well as socially. She is very open to parent's suggestions and anything that would help the students get to the next level. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a program for any educational needs.

As a former teacher at BMA and an undergraduate student at UCLA, I can say unequivocally that Brilliant Minds Academy can provide your child with the tools to succeed in their academic endeavors and beyond. The program at BMA goes further than keeping your child occupied after school. The schedule they have created is all-encompassing; providing time for one-on-one attention for homework assistance, including valuable enrichment activities for math and reading comprehension using 21st-century techniques and technology, and most importantly creating a fun and rewarding community based on manners, values, and respect.

During the school year, except your child to thrive at BMA. Every day, they will have a safe and organized space to complete their homework, build their understanding of important topics they are covering in school, and excel in daily enrichment classes that cover topics such as math, spelling, vocab, writing, and public speaking. The teachers at BMA will get to know your child personally; they will act as both a friend--by engaging in conversation and ensuring your child's well-being--and as a guide--by working with your child to master the skills they are best at and explain the concepts that require improvement. If your child requires specialized attention or desires practice in a certain area, the teachers at BMA are more than happy to accommodate. They are passionate about teaching and working with children, and their goal is always to provide the best possible growth experience for your child.

I also highly recommend BMA's summer program. A large problem with summer is the lack of brain-engaging activities. The week-long programs at BMA combine enrichment, fun outdoor activities, and bonding with friends. The full-day schedule begins with silent reading, sharing your book aloud, and comprehension and math enrichment. After your child's mind has been exercised, they are taken to the park for an extended lunch excursion where they are free to play a variety of sports or games with each other under careful supervision. During the week, they are also taken on field trips to the library, to go bowling, or to see a movie. The day concludes with additional math enrichment or an engaging class such as public speaking or writing.

The most important aspect of a small after-school program is the community and staff members. BMA is a family-run business and the owner is a parent of two SRVUSD students herself. She started this business because she wanted the same thing you desire for your child: a safe after-school that emphasizes helping your child succeed academically through positive and modern techniques, as well as helping instill life-long habits, values, and abilities. If you are looking to put your child on the right track, I highly recommend you try Brilliant Minds Academy.

I contacted brilliant minds about two months ago before they even open to get some information about their services. I called their phone number and I asked them if they had services for children with speech impediments. The guy that I was talking to was not the person who owns the brilliant minds in San Ramon he was the one who is in charge of the whole franchise. I asked him about his services and he said that someone would get back to me and talk to me about their program. I have been waiting for a really long time for them to contact me and I have contacted them more than once. If they do not have programs for children with speech impediments I still wanted to enroll my child into an English program. I was very disappointed that they never got back to me. I thought that this was very unprofessional. For any parent who's child has any type of disability weather it says speech impediment or something more serious that I would not suggest that you look into this center for your child. I would still like to talk to somebody about my experience at brilliant minds. I honestly hope that they try more harder with other parents. As a parent all I want is for my child to succeed. I am currently looking into other centers for my child in San Ramon and hopefully I can find one that can help him. If anyone can recommend any centers to me that would be amazing. Thank you yelp so much for letting me post my review.

Three things that summarizes the attributes of the staff at BMA San Ramon - passion to teach, motivating students and a lot of patience. My son joined BMA almost a year back and I have seen tremendous changes in his speech, math and analytical skills since then. Until two years back, my son was enrolled as a speech therapy student when I decided that I have had enough guidance from the school authorities that only failed him every time. So I enrolled him in the regular classes at school and arranged for support from BMA early this year. The staff at BMA understood his needs, structured the initial classes as per his requirement and counseled him till his caliber came up to the grade level. Once at the grade level, Ms. Sadia recommended that I should enroll him for the advance classes, suggesting that we can always opt out if he does not feel comfortable. I went along with her recommendation and now my son is doing all advanced level mathematics and is ahead of his class. They have weekly set-up for debates, public speaking, art & drawing and many analytical games and activities that not only challenge the minds of the young ones but also are very instrumental in building their confidence. My son likes BMA more than his own school. Looking at my son's progress from where he was last year, I highly recommend BMA San Ramon anytime.
